Kinmeadow Subscription Terms
Last updated 12 September 2026. Version 1.3.
1. What these terms cover
These Subscription Terms cover the paid Pro plan for Kinmeadow, supplied by Northern Tech Hub Ltd, company number 16428857, registered in England and Wales, registered office Ground Floor, Radley House, Richardshaw Road, Leeds, LS28 6LE.
They form part of your agreement with us and should be read with our Terms of Service. Where the two conflict on anything to do with payment, these terms win.

3. Plans and prices
Free. A free plan with a limited set of features, listed in the app and on our website. No payment, no card details, no advertising. You can stay on it indefinitely.
Pro. The full set of features, for everyone in your family group. £6.99 per calendar month, or £69.90 per year. Prices include VAT where it applies.
There is no free trial. If you want to try Kinmeadow, use the free plan.
We show you the price, the billing period, the renewal date and what you get before you commit.
4. How you buy Pro
Pro is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play. Apple or Google takes your payment, holds your payment details, and issues your receipt. We never see or store your card number.
That has two consequences worth knowing:
- Their terms apply to the transaction as well as ours. Anything to do with the payment itself is between you and Apple or Google.
- You cancel with them, not with us. See section 7.
5. Automatic renewal
Pro renews automatically at the end of each billing period, monthly or annually depending on the plan you chose, and Apple or Google takes payment. It keeps renewing until you cancel.
Apple and Google both send their own renewal receipts and both let you see your active subscriptions in your account settings.
6. If we change the price
We may change our prices. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before the new price applies to you, and Apple or Google will also ask you to confirm a price rise in the way their rules require.
You can cancel before the new price takes effect and you will not pay it. We will never increase the price of a subscription part way through a period you have already paid for.
7. Cancelling
You can cancel at any time, and you keep Pro until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that your family group moves to the free plan.
Because Apple and Google take the payment, you cancel through them:
- iPhone or iPad: Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions, then Kinmeadow, then Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Play Store, then your profile picture, then Payments and subscriptions, then Subscriptions, then Kinmeadow, then Cancel subscription.
We cannot cancel a store subscription on your behalf. Deleting the app does not cancel it. There are step by step instructions at https://kinmeadow.com/support/.
If you have trouble, email support@your-family.app and we will help.
8. Your right to change your mind
Because Kinmeadow is digital content supplied online, you have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of buying Pro, without giving a reason.
If you want Pro straight away. At checkout you can ask us to start supplying Pro immediately. If you do, you are agreeing that you lose the right to cancel once supply has begun, which is how the law works for digital content. Apple and Google present this at the point of purchase.
What you get back. Where you cancel within the 14 days and the waiver above does not apply, you get a refund of what you paid, less a proportionate amount for any part of the period you have already had. Because Apple and Google took the payment, the refund comes from them, and we will support your request.
How to tell us. Email support@your-family.app, or use the model cancellation form at the end of these terms. You do not have to use the form.
9. If something is wrong with Pro
If Pro is faulty, does not do what we said it does, or is not of satisfactory quality, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, and under equivalent law if you live in the EEA. We must put it right, and if we cannot, you are entitled to a price reduction or a refund.
Tell us at notices@your-family.app. Nothing in these terms affects those rights.
10. What happens to your family's content when Pro ends
Nothing is deleted because you stopped paying.
Your family group moves to the free plan. Content created while you were on Pro stays in your account and stays readable and exportable. Features that are Pro only stop working, and where a Pro feature has a limit on the free plan we will show you what is over the limit rather than deleting it.
You can export your family's content at any time, on any plan, from Settings.
11. Refunds in other circumstances
Outside your statutory rights we do not usually refund time you have not used. Where something has genuinely gone wrong, a serious outage or a duplicate charge for instance, tell us and we will look at it.
Because purchases go through Apple and Google, refunds are theirs to make under their own policies. We will support a request where it is reasonable.
12. Changes to these terms
We may change these Subscription Terms. If a change is material we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before it applies, and you can cancel before it takes effect.
13. Which law applies
The law of England and Wales applies, and section 17 of our Terms of Service explains where you can bring a claim. If you live in the EEA, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country you live in.
Model cancellation form
Optional. Cancelling in your app store, or any clear email to us, works just as well.
